Blenda Clerjon
Sewing techniques
Blenda Clerjon began her fashion career in Mauritius before moving to France. After gaining experience in design offices and assembly methods, she joined Isabel Marant's design offices, where she perfected her craftsmanship in quality and manufacturing techniques for four years. Her technical expertise then led her to Carven, where she rapidly progressed, first as technical and design office manager, before becoming the company's first workshop manager. In this position, she coordinates a team of 20 people and ensures the quality of the house's collections.
Blenda decided to set up her own prototyping workshop dedicated to haute couture houses and luxury brands. Her workshop stands out for its high standards of finish, precision and respect for designers' expectations. Her collaborations include Alexandre Vauthier, whose pieces require exceptional technical mastery and attention to detail and materials.
Today, she is director of the Brevet Professionnel Vêtement sur mesure, director of the CAP programs and a teacher at IFM. Her background, combining artisanal excellence and technical innovation, has made her a reference in the Parisian fashion world.
