Hans de Foer
Fashion Design, Art direction
Graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Hans de Foer has designed high-end ready-to-wear and couture collections for Jean-Charles De Castelbajac, André Courrèges, and Jean-Paul Gaultier as well as for his own label.
He also worked for Azzedine Alaïa.
Subsequently, as creative director, he led the creative, multidisciplinary and international teams of mid-range and diffusion brands.
For several years, he has been involved in pedagogical follow-up at various fashion training institutions, such as the Institut Français de la Mode, EnsAD, Ensci and Esmod.
He is currently a Professor at the Institut Français de la Mode where he directed the Postgraduate Programme in Fashion Design from 2012 to 2020 and the Master in Fashion Design, majors in Garment, Accessory & Image.
Since 2020, he has been in charge of the Craftmanship programmes resulting from the merger between the Institut Français de la Mode and the École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne.
