Thomas Delattre
Fashion Entrepreneurship and Consumer Behavior
Professor, Director of Fashion Entrepreneurship Center
I manage the Fashion Entrepreneurship Center of Institut Français de la Mode. After having led prospective studies and marketing consulting missions, I now support brands and startups in the fashion industry through various incubation and acceleration programs advocating creative, innovative and sustainable entrepreneurship.
My research focuses on the changes in fashion consumption, especially the evolution of consumption forms (historical and new channels), attitudes (expectations, motivations...) and products (second-hand, eco-responsible fashion...). I am interested in the gaps between consumers' concerns and the reality of their purchases, borrowing theoretical contributions from the human and social sciences that I transpose into a marketing approach.
