ba&sh x IFM: Design challenge for the 2025 collection
In a unique partnership, ba&sh collaborated with Institut Français de la Mode to launch a creative challenge for students in the Accessories course of the Master of Arts in Fashion Design. The aim was to design an exclusive shoe model for ba&sh's Spring-Summer 2025 collection.
After several weeks of intense work, the students' creations were presented to a jury of fashion experts, including Barbara Boccara and Sharon Krief, co-founders of ba&sh, as well as Émilie Rodie, Chief Marketing Officer, Hélène Dauriac, Accessories Director, Claire Palmer, Julie Dessagne, Digital Editor in Chief of ELLE Magazine, and Alix Morabito, General Buying & Merchandising Director of Galeries Lafayette.
A total of 12 students entered 8 innovative projects. The jury selected 3 projects that were put into competition on ba&sh's Instagram page, allowing web users to vote directly through the Instagram stories for their favorite project: Nicolas Coast & Heesun Choi for their “24/7” model, Jules Petit Degos with “Huella”, and Coastal Escape with “Lia”. The student with the most votes was Jules Petit Degos for his project “Huella”. As a reward, he will travel to Portugal with the ba&sh team, supervising the design of his shoe model.
