IFM and Paris Good Fashion debuts "Sustainable Fashion Horizons"
On Tuesday November 28th Institut Français de la Mode and Paris Good Fashion, with a group of students from the IFM – Kering Sustainability certificate, hosted the first conference of a series called "Sustainable Fashion Horizons". This series will hold a range of events over the year exploring various topics on sustainability within the fashion industry.
This first conference, supported by the Colombian embassy, was on the topic of Social Impact, Diversity and Inclusion and included guest speakers Laura Laurens from her eponymous brand, Anyi Ballesteros from Agroarte, and Lorraine Ledemé Pariente from Itinerance. The event aimed to bring awareness of tradition and communities, encouraging a space for a change of perception.
The next conference will be celebrating the fifth anniversary of Paris Good Fashion, an association committed to accelerating change in the fashion industry towards more responsible fashion through concrete action. It will be held on January 23rd 2024 at 5:30 pm on the IFM campus.
