Discover the designers supported by IFM Labels in 2019
IFM Labels is a unique support program for young creative brands. Every year since 2011, Institut Français de la Mode accompanies six young designers, selected for their talent, uniqueness and potential, and offers them personalized assistance for the development of their business.
The 2019/2020 class of IFM Labels is composed of:
- Hed Mayner
- Ludovic of Saint Sernin
- Spencer Phipps
- Happy Haus
- Mr. K
- Coltesse
The IFM labels program is built on both group sessions and individual personalized support.
The collective sessions focus on key themes such as project positioning and collection construction, multi-channel distribution issues, communication, production and supply chain, activity management and business plan, and company organisation.
The objective is to share current best practices and to invite professionals who come to share their experiences.
Following an individual diagnosis conducted by the IFM team, individual coaching credits are granted to each project and can be adjusted according to the founders' profiles, their business model, their positioning and their priorities.
"The objective of this program is to help young labels become more professional, by allowing them to step back, share their experiences with other participants and with the help of the experts come up with operational solutions to the challenges they face," says Patricia Romatet, IFM Labels Program Director.
Among the labels supported since the creation of the program are Aalto, After Homework, Atlein, Bonne Gueule, Charlotte Chesnais, Gauchère, Le Gramme, Jacquemus, Koché, la Prestic Ouiston, Roseanna, Marine Serre, Vêtements...
IFM Labels is supported by DEFI - la Mode de France, BPI France, the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode and the Fédération Française du Prêt à Porter Féminin.
