The Master of Arts in Fashion Design opens Paris Fashion Week®
For the second time, the students of the Master of Arts in Fashion Design opened Paris Fashion Week® with a film showcasing their final collections, combining the skillset learnt at IFM and their individual expression.
These collections and creative projects are the result of two years of advanced training in design, research and innovation, provided by the faculty and guest experts, and punctuated by large-scale projects in collaboration with the industry's leading brands.
This year, the IFM Graduate Show incorporates real and virtual dimensions, a sign of IFM's desire to be at the forefront of creativity and design. For the first time, the accessories students designed a digital accessory to complement their physical collection. The design of these digital accessories was made possible thanks to the technological expertise of expertise of technology startup Stage11, who provided the students with the educational tools, resources and a platform to explore digital
design and metaverse experiences. A virtualisation project of fashion and knitwear collections was also carried out by the students in fashion image.
The way these young talents look at fashion is an important part of this new edition of Paris Fashion Week®, which, like the entire Parisian ecosystem, is increasingly committed to supporting emerging designers.
The graduate show film, directed by The Stimuleye and Antoine Asseraf, also a lecturer at IFM, opened Paris Fashion Week® on February 28th 2022.
The Graduate Show of the Master of Arts in Fashion Design was supported by DEFI, which Institut Français de la Mode would like to thank, as well as our partners Stage11 and Sheriff Productions, and CTC, GAB, Holding Moda, Real Campus by L'Oréal, Shiseido.
