PFW® opens with the Master of Arts Graduate Show 2024
On Monday 26 February 2024, 27 students from the Master of Arts in Fashion Design and Knitwear Design presented their final collections to kick off Paris Fashion Week® on the IFM campus. The students based their collections on concepts derived from in-depth research, with the aim of questioning the contemporary world. Each collection, consisting of 5 to 7 looks, is the high point of an intensive program that started in September 2022.
400 guests attended the show, among whom Brigitte Macron, France’s First Lady, Culture Minister Rachida Dati, Secretary of State for Social and Responsible Economy Olivia Grégoire, Sidney Toledano, LVMH & President of IFM, and many other fashion leaders such as Bruno Pavlovsky, Fashion President of Chanel, Michael Burke, President of LVMH’s Fashion Group, AMI Paris Founder Alexandre Mattiussi, Anouck Duranteau-Loeper, CEO of Isabel Marant, Philippe Houzé, President of Galeries Lafayette, Jean-Marc Bellaiche, President of Printemps and many more…
The Master of Arts Graduate Show is supported by DEFI, as well as its partners OBO, Titre Provisoire, Make Up For Ever Academy, Real Campus by L’Oréal, Launchmetrics, Florence Doré, and Holding Moda.
Numerous textile producers and specialized manufacturers, such as UFIMH and Les Teintures de France, also support and accompany the students.
