Sidney Toledano nominated Chairman of the Board of IFM
Institut Français de la Mode’s General Assembly was held on Tuesday, June 14. It approved the appointment of the board members proposed by the professional federations. At the end of this General Assembly, the new Board of Directors met and unanimously approved the appointment of Sidney Toledano, Chairman and CEO of LVMH Fashion Group, as the new Chairman of the Board and Anne Dellière, Group Marketing & Strategic Plan Director of the Richemont Group, as Vice-Chairman.
Sidney Toledano, a board member of Institut Français de la Mode for more than 20 years and Vice President for the past five years, takes over from André Beirnaert who did not renew his mandate.
The Board of Directors of Institut Français de la Mode would like to thank André Beirnaert for his commitment to IFM and his active and watchful support in all phases of the school's development to foster the dynamics and dimension reached today.

About Sidney Toledano
Sidney Toledano was born in Morocco on July 25, 1951.
He is an Engineer graduate of Ecole Centrale de Paris.
Sidney Toledano spent his early career as marketing consultant at Nielsen International, then he joined Kickers as General Secretary in 1982. In 1984, he was appointed Managing Director of Lancel.
In 1994, Sidney Toledano joined Christian Dior Couture as Director of the Leather Goods Division before becoming Managing Director in charge of the international development in 1996. In 1998, he was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Christian Dior Couture to pursue the development of the brand and put Christian Dior at the forefront of the most famous brands in the luxury sector. He was appointed Vice President, Managing Director and Board member of Christian Dior S.E.
In February 2018, he was appointed Chairman and CEO of LVMH Fashion Group, which includes numerous prestigious brands (Celine, Givenchy, Loewe, Emilio Pucci, Kenzo, Marc Jacobs, Rossimoda, Patou). He also becomes a member of the LVMH Executive Committee.
Sidney Toledano is Vice President and member of the board of the Comité Colbert. He’s a member of the Management Committee of the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture and member of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode Executive Committee.
Sidney Toledano has been awarded the honorary titles of Chevalier dans l’Ordre National de la Légion d’Honneur and Officier dans l’Ordre National du Mérite. He was decorated by His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco as Officer of Wissam Al-Arch distinction in 2007.
