Tutor

Jamie Howes is a knitwear designer and the creator of Moirai Mohair, a brand crafted from the wool of his own flock of Angora goats. He holds a BA (Hons) in Fashion Design: Knit from Central Saint Martins. After completing four years of specialized knitting studies, thanks to the L'Oréal Young Talent and Swarovski Foundation grants he settled himself in Brittany in 2022 to develop his brand. His vision centers on a fully integrated approach to fashion, ensuring complete traceability of the fibers and yarns he uses.

For the past five years, he has been teaching at IFM to Bachelor of Art in Fashion Design and Summer School students on knitting machine. Through his workshops, they explore new techniques and learn how to translate their research and sketches into knitwear creations.
