April 2018: results on the consumption of clothing & textiles

After a first quarter down 3.3%, the final results for April 2018 show an increase in distributors' sales (+3.2% in value compared to April 2017). As a reminder, the April 2017 reference was slightly lower (-0.6%) than in April 2016.

The results range from a 20.9% increase for E-Commerce / VAD to a 2.8% decrease for hypermarkets and supermarkets.

Overall, for the first four months of 2018, the year's results improved somewhat: sales declined in value by 2.0% compared to the same period in 2017.
