October 2018: consumption of clothing and textiles
The results for the month of October 2018 show an increase in distributors' sales: +5.1% in value compared to October 2017. The October 2017 reference was, it is true, 13.2% lower than in October 2016.
October's results ranged from a 14.5% increase for mainstream channels to a 0.5% decline for multi-brand independents.
Overall, for the first ten months of 2018, the annual balance sheet improved slightly and distributors' sales declined by 2.6% in value terms compared with the same period in 2017.
