The Foundation
"The Foundation's corporate members are happy to support the school in its ambition to be the world reference in terms of fashion design, management and savoir-faire", Bruno Pavlovsky, President of Chanel's fashion activities, President of the Institut Français de la Mode Foundation.
The Foundation, established under the aegis of the Fondation de France, reflects the school's commitment to building strong, lasting, and structured relationships—both with companies supporting its development and with alumni and individual donors.
Its primary mission is to foster social diversity within the school by funding scholarships. It also supports research and pedagogical innovation.

Mission
The Foundation's mission is to support the development of research and educational innovation at Institut Français de la Mode and to help the school implement its equal opportunities policy through the financing of scholarships for students.
Its three main missions are:
1. Support the school's strategy for social and international diversity
The Foundation helps Institut Français de la Mode train the talents of tomorrow, whatever their social background. The funds donated each year by the Foundation's partners (companies and graduates) are used to finance scholarships based on social criteria for students admitted to the school's programs.
- A proactive scholarship policy: priority given to scholarships based on social criteria
- 25% of students concerned
2. Supporting research and teaching
- Development of research and teaching chairs on key issues for companies
- Contribution to reference publications in the academic field
3. Supporting innovation
- In terms of pedagogical approaches (4.0 industry or non-technological innovation)
- Entrepreneurship development: Participation in the development of partnerships with the actors of the digital, tech and start-up ecosystems.
Institut Français de la Mode's Foundation is hosted by the Fondation de France.
